The aerodynamic dryer “SA-800” processes sawdust, wood chips, straw, fruit pomace and many other grain waste with an efficiency of up to 800 kg/h. This equipment is used to reduce the moisture content of raw materials for further processing. The main source of heat generated in the machine pipeline is the furnace.

The specially designed structure of the dryer allows you to obtain raw material for pelletizing starting from an initial moisture content of 60%.

Technological solutions for the sawdust dryer SA-800

The operating temperature of the drying air in an aerodynamic dryer is 120 – 180 °C, which eliminates the risk of sawdust fire. The dryer starts in a few minutes and the drying control is extremely simple. The speed of the aerodynamic dryer SA-800 is 25 – 28 m/s, which allows you to dry wood waste and agricultural waste, peat, sawdust and other small materials.

The principle of operation of the aerodynamic sawdust dryer SA-800

The wet material is fed into the pipeline by a screw conveyor. A fan is installed at the end of the dryer, which sucks in sawdust together with hot air and carries it through the entire drying system. The moisture content of sawdust gradually decreases as it passes through pipes of different diameters. The cyclone separates the hot air from the dried raw material, so the lighter particles fly up and the heavier particles fall down.
