Het voordeel van deze 4-traps aandrijving met frequentieregelaar is de enorme kracht in de lage toerentallen. Dit is nodig bij bijvoorbeeld boorwerk, tapwerk, afsteken, etc. Het instellen van het toerental gebeurt aan de voorzijde van de machine.
De voedingskast is voorzien van tandwielen en wordt ingesteld door schakelhendels. Hier kan bijna elke voedingssnelheid en/of schroefdraadspoed worden ingesteld, waardoor nagenoeg geen wisselwielen nodig zijn.
